A late start is better than no start – after a few hiccups, we are on the road!
It’s always hard leaving the kids – even tho they’re not kids any more. But this time is extra hard knowing it will be such a long time.
We are excited about the trip and hopeful for treatment that will bring relief. But still – leaving is definitely bittersweet (especially knowing they have fun plans for the summer)!
This will be my view for the next 2500 miles. The highways and scenery will change and I’ll share some of the cool things we hope to see.
In the meantime – GO VOTE!

Actually, we will be stopping in Fort Smith to visit Dave’s cousin.
We are going to Florida for neck treatment for me.
