Overall, I like the concept of the Pompa Program and plan to continue with it as I am able. I have been improving and have more energy & stamina. And bonus -I’ve lost 30+ lbs!

However, contrary to what Dr. Pompa states, it is NOT an easy program for someone who is severely sick. There are a few issues that could have been done differently to make it easier to manage. And those who need a lot help with daily life will need a lot of help managing the supplements and food on this program.

Intro to Cellular Healing

I’ve just started a new program that focuses on cellular healing. I have learned a lot about this over the past 5 years but truth…

Issues / Challenges

While I think the concept at is core is strong, the program itself has some challenges that the company doesn’t seem willing to even discuss, let alone address. I’m not saying don’t try it, I just want you to know what you’re getting into if you do.

Very Sick Patients

2 years ago, I could not have done this program. In fact, if I didn’t have a husband who helps me, I’m not sure I could not do it now. It would have been a waste of money.

My daughter is also doing it and she is struggling. She needs our help, but even with that, she is not seeing any progress. We have a kind coach, but we are not getting the support we really need.

If you are too sick to weed through the diet and supplement information, to create and maintain a very overwhelming schedule, to spend a ton of time working on your food, researching supplements and symptoms, and sorting out what’s important – this may not be the right avenue for you.

My hope is to one day be a coach for people who need more in-depth help. But the Pompa program is really a DIY program – they provide the tools and a tons of info, but you’ve gotta be able to do the work.

I am looking for other doctors who utilize this or similar programs but are better coordinated and organized. I’ll keep you posted as I find more info!

Feedback & Communication

I tried sharing my thoughts about one of my concerns on the facebook group in response to another woman who was having the same problem. Mostly I wanted her to know she was not alone – this was also not the first person I’d seen post about this concern. My initial comment was deleted and one of the coaches reprimanded me and recommended I talk with my coach.

When I replied again – basically telling her that feedback is important and they should be open to it feom their clients – the entire post disappeared. I don’t know if she was able to block me from that these or deleted it altogether, but that’s a huge negative in my book.

She is a very knowledgable coach – but her client services skills are lacking.

I paid a lot of money for this program for myself and my daughter. A little common courtesy and willingness to hear my concerns isn’t just the polite thing to do – it’s the minimum that should be done. The saddest part about it is that I don’t think they care. They got my $$, they think they know best, my opinion doesn’t matter at this stage.

At the end of the 6 months – I’ll be making recommendations in the hopes people get the right help. There are other programs and if the issues of concern with this one are too great, I’ll be recommending others first.

I certainly will recommend anyone joining the Pompa Program ask to not be with that particular coach.

Just to be clear – I really like my personal coach. It’s the process I’m frustrated about, not my own coach.

Too Much Info

For those who are too sick to manage a lot of info – like my daughter and myself at at times – this isn’t the program for you.

They provide all the information for the entire program up front – 3 diets – 3 phases – lots of variation. And you know what – it’s just too much.

I don’t mind getting the info up front but there needs to be a clear, easy to understand guideline explaining where to start and what to do.

That’s what the coach is for – I get that and I like having a coach. But I also need a paper that says “do this now”.

(SEE RECOMMENDATION UNDER ORGANIZATION)

Organization

I’ve spent countless hours trying to organize the information. I shouldn’t be the one having to do that. Again – I paid good money for this! And I don’t have it in me to try to figure it out.

Dr. Pompa does a good job in his video – but his written work is confusing.

My recommendation – hire a professional to put together an organized manual for each phase.

Recipes

Since food is such a major component, so are recipes. There’s a lot shared in their FB group but a webpage or section on the portal with recipes would be way more helpful.

On most days, I don’t have the energy or brain power to weed through thousands of posts trying to find a recipe. And honestly, if I do have the energy and brainpower, I’ve got a lot more I need to do.

So I’ve started my own webpage with recipes – some from the FB group, most I dug up online. I did this mostly so my family and I would be able to quickly find recipes we like and we can share them easily too.

Facebook Groups

I am banned on FB. Lots of people are! I am on there right now only because they haven’t identified me under my new login, but when they do – I will lose all access to the Pompa social media groups.
