One of the most important things I’ve done to improve my health has been eliminating sugar and changing the sweetener I use.

In the video below, Dr. Livingood gives a breakdown of sweeteners. He has 3 charts comparing various sweeteners so you can make an informed decision about which you choose to put in your body.

My main sweetener staples are Allulose and Coconut sugar (often as a blend). I’m not a fan of stevia or monk fruit (also note that most store bought monk fruit has erythritol). Occasionally I use honey or maple syrup for baking – but that’s rare.

Read labels – eliminate foods containing standard sugar or any of the sweeteners below.
