We just crossed the border from Oklahoma to Kansas on our last leg of a 4 day journey to Wichita. This has been a rough trip, but I’ve been better than I expected and we have totally enjoyed the ever changing landscape and weather.
If you have never taken the highway 40 / Route 66 adventure, I encourage you to do it at least once. We have been on smaller 2 lane highways since yesterday afternoon. There’s nothing here. At the same time, it’s almost breathtaking.
Tomorrow starts day 1 back at the Biologix Center for Optimum Health (formerly Hansa). I had such a great experience last time – health wise I saw huge improvement, but I also met people who were such a precious gift to my time there.
I am going in with hope but am admittedly a little reserved about having expectations. I don’t mean that in a negative way – I just believe God is bringing us there for a purpose that we may not fully understand yet. And sometimes that purpose is simply the adventure itself.
Kind of like these so-called Fly-Over states we’ve been cruising through. Sure we could have hopped a jet plane and been settled into a hotel room in a day – but being able to see the heartland of our country first hand has been a privilege.
So – here’s to the next 2 week adventure, whatever may happen.
