“You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.”

Benjamin Mee, We Bought a Zoo

I’m stepping out in faith right now trusting that God will move mountains in my community. This wildfire is spreading throughout our state – communities are fed up with the “casedemic” and we have realized we’ve been duped.

If you haven’t seen it yet, I encourage you to watch this presentation which explains what a casedemic is and why we have been utterly stupid for shutting down our world. Viral Issue Update: Science, Logic & Data Explained (Ivor Cummins)

Back to me and my 20 seconds of insane courage. It’s becoming a series of 20 seconds of courage to be honest.

We have been listening to leaders dictate actions to us for 6 months. And we are starting to realize they’re wrong. So it’s time for someone to step out of their comfort zone and start working towards practical solutions.

I am not in a position of power – I have no authority – and I’m truly terrified that I won’t be able to see this through to completion. But what I realized today is that God isn’t telling me to muster up 30 days of courage, He’s just saying give it 20 seconds.

And that’s how He works. If we can muster up faith of a mustard seed (20 seconds of courage), we can move mountains (30 days of changing minds).

Maybe that doesn’t make sense to you, but it’s giving me hope and faith and I believe that will make the difference.
