Today marks 7 years since I began sharing my story here on WordPress.

My First Post Here – Why I Started a Blog

I haven’t been consistent and I’m sure sometimes my posts didn’t make sense to anyone but me.

However I pray that at least some of what I’ve written has resonated in some way with others on similar journeys.

When I started writing, it never occurred to me I would still be writing 7 years later. Coming to terms with being sick, with not working, with not being able to do the things I used to do – these thoughts were not reconciled in a day, a month or even a year. It was a process. A hard one.

It’s always easier to see why God allows trials when we are lookin in the rear view mirror. I can look back now and see how God used this illness to impact change – good change, difficult change – but also to increase relationships and show me that I’m more than my career.
