To be at the end of ones emotional or mental limits.
Every Lyme patient feels this way often – sometimes every day.
It’s nearly impossible to not feel frustrated, sad, even hopeless. The trick is to find your way back to feeling hopeful and encouraged.
I woke up this morning short of breath, heart rate up, bp down, headache, joint pain, numbness – it’s just too much.
And then an email from my doctor came through with next steps.
I don’t know how these new treatments will help – or even if they will help at all. But I am hopeful just knowing there are next steps.
Wherever you’re at right now – don’t give up hope. If you have to find a new doctor, if you have to change meds, diet, whatever – just keep believing that something can help.
Change is hard – but change can be good. Especially when you’re at your wits end.
