Being sick is exhausting. You can’t understand that statement unless you’ve been there yourself.

I am exhausted. I’m sick of being sick. The pain right now is so high I wake up crying – I can’t walk, I can’t turn over, I can’t breathe without cringing.

“There comes a point when the desire to rest overrides the desire to live.”

Derek Shepard

If you are at that point – when the desire rest is so strong – how do you move forward? How do you keep hope?

I find it in my family. I find it in compassionate doctors who keep trying to find me a bit rest.

I find it in writing – in the hope that I’m encouraging someone else to endure.

If you are at the end of your rope – find something, anything, that fulfills your desire to live. Don’t give up. Not yet.

I know it’s exhausting…trust me, I KNOW! Just one more day. You can do this.
