Longtail Rally

After a late start this morning, we stopped into a gas station to fill up and found ourselves surrounded by exotic cars participating in the Longtail Rally.

The rally started in San Francisco on June 3, traversed the Rocky Mountains, dropped down to Santa Fe and will end June 11 in Scottsdale.

I guess if you can afford the car, you can afford the $14k entry fee.

Clines Corners Travel Center

We stopped just to get out of the RV a bit. This historical little travel center has so many gifts and such. But this wS my favorite corner!

Blew a Tire

Fortunately it was on the tow behind, but holy cow, it scared the crud out of us. I thought we had been hit by a car or something.

Ghost Towns

There’s several revenants of ghost towns along the way – I didn’t have my camera on at the right moment but caught a few little buildings.
