Well that’s a whole different experience! 70 shots in the neck.
I don’t do neck shots well – my muscles rebel.
So they gave me 2 Xanax, 2 Vicodin and nitrous. Not pleasant by any means, but I got through it!
Now it’s a waiting game to see how much it affects me.
Next procedure is July 14.
For her next few days, I’m in bed, resting, healing, sleeping.

6/23 Update
I slept a whole lot yesterday afternoon and last night. I’m quite stiff this morning and have a little bit of increased headache but not in much pain.
The 70 shots was doable with Xanax, Vicodin and Nitrous. Ha ha. What wouldn’t be?
I’m super excited about this treatment. My neck has been such a problem for so long – the only other option has been surgery to fuse the vertebrae. So yeah, that doesn’t seem great.
This will take several treatments (doing them every 2 weeks), and the body will continue to heal for several months before we know how much it will actually help. But I am expecting a ton of healing.
