We arrived in Fort Myers 2 months ago – not knowing what to expect with treatment, but having faith that this was the right place to be.
It takes time to see results – usually 6-8 weeks after each injection. I’m right at 8 weeks and I can honestly say the pain is much less severe. It’s still there and I still can’t do as much as I’d like, but I used to be in tears pretty much every day, not any more.
I had my 4th treatment Tuesday – 90 shots total (incl 10 for numbing). I was in bed for 4 days after the first 3 treatments – for this one, I was up the next day hurting but able to function.
I will continue to heal I’m the coming months and have exercises and weight treatment to help correct the curve in my neck (which was reversed when I first got here). Only time will tell how much this will help – but we have already seen improvement and hope for more!
