Louisville

I wish I’d felt better driving through Louisville- I wanted to drive spend a little time in this beautiful city. But I wasn’t up to it so we just drove through. The Ohio River runs through town so there’s a whole lotta bridges – not my favorite thing to cross in an RV, but pretty!

Indiana is not what I expected – it has beautiful landscape and such kind people.

We visited family in Loogootee. These small mid-west towns are so homey – no ones a stranger, they just treat you like friends! We got stuck at a road closure and were trying to figure out where to go when a gal drove up just to help us find our way.

The Amish community is strong here!

We stayed at Montgomery Recreation Park – on a beautiful lake. Cicadas make beautiful music in the mornings and fireflies dot the night skies. Most of the other RVs take up seasonal residence here. I can understand why! People drive by on their golf carts and just stop to say hello and chat a bit.

Cicadas – Listen!
Fireflies – watch carefully!
