I’ve heard so many times people say Lyme isn’t fatal. Someone even once told me that it was good my diagnosis wasn’t for something serious like cancer.

The link below is about a woman who recently died from a babesia infection (co-infection).

Despite the comment by the news reporter, co-infections are in fact quite common. I have 4 (including babesia)- plus several viruses, mold and lead toxicity, and several co-conditions.

Death from tickborne disease is not uncommon – it’s simply under reported.

Severe disability is also common – but most people don’t see the daily battle, so they think this is not a serious disease.

I’m going into a program that I expect to make me much worse for a while. I’d be a fool to not think that the worst could happen. I believe good things will come of it – but it’s still a little scary feeling like I’m taking a step backwards.

I pray for guidance and direction and I believe this is the right path. But I’m still scared of how bad it could get.

This sickness is hard. And even though I’ve seen improvement in recent years, I still suffer greatly.

In the end:

God is still God.
God is still good.
All glory to Him.
