I’ve started a new therapy called TruDose – they take some of my blood, spin it down to get platelet rich plasma (prp) and inject it back into my bloodstream.

As part of the process they get a baseline platelet count – mine was 114 (Ref range 150-450) so a little low. Blood pressure has also been running low (90/60) – which is likely related.

Could explain the profound fatigue I’ve been dealing with. Tons of bloodwork also done so more to come on that.

The Trudose is expected to calm the nervous system and overactive mast cells, which will all hopefully provide some pain relief and maybe give my immune system a boost.

Today was the first dose – will likely do another in a month or two – depending on lots of factors.

I keep reminding myself one day at a time. I forget that a lot too.

I’ll be keeping track of symptoms here so will update later.

Effects:

  • A little off for the first hour or two after treatment – almost numb/tipsy feeling, difficult to walk, unbalanced
  • Numb, burning feet
  • Several days on and off feeling out of it, very tired/sleepy
