Appointment with Dr Harris was great as always.

We reviewed the latest testing – click HERE to see the full results.

Tests show:

  • Lyme
  • Babesia
  • Bartonella
  • Cytomegalovirus
  • Ebstein Barr Virus
  • Streptococcal
  • Significant and widespread amyloid fibrin microclots – indicating Long Covid
  • Hormone dysfunction
  • Inflammation (which could be from autoimmune issues but more likely from digestive inflammation and infection)

Treatment

  • I’ll be doing a second round of TruDose later this month
  • Arakoda, an anti-malaria medication for Babesia (which is a malaria like organism)
  • Sulodexide (a medication from Italy which is helpful the microclots)
  • Cartilage Bioregulator (Peptide) – in an effort to help Cervical Instability
  • Oxygen therapy 3 hours daily
  • I’ve started a hormone therapy but I will also be seeing another doctor in the same office who specializes in hormones (she also happens to be my daughters doctor – see below). Ladies: just because it’s considered “normal” to have low hormones after 50 doesn’t mean we are supposed to suffer! There are options!

Here’s what’s frustrating tho:

  • I started treatment for all the above mentioned diseases in 2014. I did 5 years of medications – oral, intramuscular and 4 years of intravenous (through a PICC line – as many as 3 meds 5 days a week).
  • I’ve done numerous treatments at specialized clinics across the country.
  • I’ve done cellular healing and continue to eat a modified diet (no sugar, no grains, low carb, low fruit, high fat, as clean as can be).
  • I’ve done a massive amount of detoxing.

And I’m still sick.

It’s not my doctors fault – he’s been amazing, he’s kept me alive and I have improved, just not as much as we would both hope.

A girl could get pretty discouraged about all this. But if you’ve read my past posts, you know my motto:

It’s ok to have a pity party, just don’t unpack and live there.

So now that I’m done crying – it’s time to get serious (again), buckle down and re-focus on healing. Some of the treatments will likely cause a herxheimer reaction (toxic overload) which brings increased pain and nausea.

I believe diet and reducing toxins in food and environment is absolutely critical to healing. It’s the one thing that I can truly say has helped me improve and has held. Learn more about my Perspectives On Food.

Some of the Therapies I Do At Home:

  • Sauna
  • Ionic foot bath
  • Biomat
  • Grounding
  • Rife
  • Oxygen
  • Cervical Instability Exercises
  • Lymph massage
  • Castor oil packs
  • Tai Chi (which I can)

I’ll also bring doing the Master Cleanse again. I truly believe it is highly beneficial and can only help with detox.

About Dr Harris

Dr. Harris is a world renowned specialist. His father was one of the original founders of the International Lyme and Associated Disease Society (ILADS). He’s been studying tick-borne diseases and the associated conditions his entire life.

He is mostly retired from seeing patients – he has kept a few like me but his focus now is on helping other doctors become experts.

More than all that, I trust him because he listens to me and he empowers me to be my own healer and my own advocate. And he thinks he’s funny.

You can read the first chapter of his upcoming book at the link below: (it’s a great read and shows his compassion and understanding for his patients).

And if you are suffering from Lyme+ or any other chronic illness, if you’re at your wits end and feel like giving up, you’re not alone.
