This week I started ozone therapy.

Oxygen is a critical component of healthy cells. Chronically ill people tend to have a hard time getting enough oxygen to the cells and throughout the entire body.

The therapy itself was pretty easy.

  • An IV line is inserted & connected to a small saline bag
  • Blood is drawn into the bag – about 100 cc’s
  • A giant syringe pulls ozone grime a special machine – and then is injected into the bag with blood
  • The ozone enriched blood is dropped back into the body through the IV

There’s no increased pain, no headaches, and no other affects so far. Sometimes it can cause a detox type reaction.

We followed it up with a liter of saline – hydration is always extra helpful for ensuring our blood moves properly and is key to proper detoxing.

We go back in 2 weeks for a second and third dose – with increased ozone.

It’s not a cure. It’s simply one component to improve cellular health, which will hopefully allow for improved functioning.

Will keep you posted!

  1. Thanks for sharing your experience! I have started Ozone Therapy with Ultraviolet blood irradiation (UBI) to help with Multiple Sclerosis. I began on the 8th of May. I saw benefits each time (weekly) with no side effects. I’m going from bed bound to being able to feeling like I have more purpose as I’m now able to do more out of my bed. Looking forward to reading about your progress. Blessings

    1. I’m so sorry that you’re suffering from MS – that’s a difficult disease. I know several Lyme patients originally diagnosed with MS. It’s one of the many diseases Lyme mimics.

I’m glad you are seeing improvement with ozone! That’s awesome!

I’ve had 3 Ozone infusions so far (plus insufflations) – haven’t felt any improvement – but it doesn’t make me worse so we are going to do two more treatments at full dose and if I don’t see improvement, we are gonna stop.

Ultraviolet Blood Infusion – fascinating! I’ll be looking into that! Thanks for sharing!

      1. Good morning, Shawn! Yes, it sucks but I tell myself that it’s clear as day that I’m not going to do things others can and only a select few can do the things that I can do. lol But seriously, this experience has humbled me in many ways! After each of my sessions, I get acupuncture administered by the doctor. I have to look up insufflations. Improvement is gradual. I believe that you desire health and your will will get you there. Stay motivated as much as possible. Trust me the challenge is real and easier said than done. God is able!

      2. It is humbling indeed!!! I do desire health and I have improved tremendously, so I try to measure my current state by how far I’ve come, not how far I have to go.

I’ve been sick for 15 years and was bedridden and in a wheelchair for about a year and a half (8 years ago).

I love this statement: “it’s clear as day that I’m not going to do things others can and only a select few can do the things that I can do”. May I use that in a post?
