I have been researching ways to eat and live healthier – specifically reading The Swiss Secret and a few other books. It’s a HUGE learning process – and I generally eat healthier and use a variety of non-toxic products, but I can do much better.

My personality includes a “need to know” function. I need to understand WHY something is important before I will commit to doing it. So yeah – books, lots of them.

pH is mentioned in these books – but not explained in detail. Just a generic recommendation to get it balanced. Yeah, ok – that means nothing to me.

But I bought the pH test paper anyway. Which came with a comparison chart – and no other explanation, not even where on the chart pH should be.

Things like it takes 32 glasses of water to offset one glass of soda.

Stress, breathing, toxins and infections all cause your body to become more acidic, as well as increasing inflammation and makes your body more vulnerable to germs (which makes your body more acid, bad cycle).

So even if you do everything right in your diet, these other factors are big problems for me and require work.

After learning about pH, I’ll be more diligent with breathing, stress, toxins and food. I hope you will too.
