One of the challenges with Lyme+ and HSP (Highly Sensitive People) can be sensitivity to light, sound, touch, & smell.

Touch and smell I can usually avoid (especially at home), but light and sound is more difficult.

My daughter is extreme HSP and often has to recluse to her room because the world is just too loud.

Loop Earplugs were designed for the music industry to reduce decibels and protect hearing. However they also work well for people with sound sensitivity.

Jillian often wears them when she’s in the house – she can still hear us, but it reduces the levels of our voices and muffles the many annoying noises that overwhelm her (heater, refrigerator, tv, etc).

If you struggle with sound sensitivity, I highly recommend them. They’re only about $25 and you can get an extra insert which adds another 5 decibel reduction to help when you’re somewhere really loud.
