In 2022, I went to Florida for prolotherapy injections in my neck. The damage to my neck is significant. That has helped tremendously but more treatment is needed.

Recently, a center in Redding started to do Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections in the neck. Rather than return to Florida, I had treatment here (in the hopes that it will be as effective).

Platelets in your blood contain hundreds of proteins called growth factors, which are known to improve healing.

Blood is drawn from tour own body and then spun down to reduce the amount of liquid, which results in plasma with a high content of platelets.

Then it is injected into the site of injury, in my case, the neck and shoulders.

It may take up to 4 weeks to feel the full effects of treatment – so I’ll be back later to share results!
