The last couple of years, my focus has been on non-tick-borne issues – rather than directly treating the diseases.

Cellular Healing – focused on repairing cell walls, allowing for nutrients to get in, toxins to get out. This included an entire dietary overhaul and learning how to eat to create more stable cells.

Cervical Instability – I went to Florida for prolotherapy injections in my neck. I am now also doing sound wave therapy and plasma rich platelet injections to continue to help the healing.

UTI and female problems that became unbearable. I’ve been undergoing several therapies and treatments for that, including injections at home.

Psoriasis, exzema, and psoriatic arthritis – I’ve started biologic injections to treat those. The first one cause reactions, including making it all worse. They switched to another – that one seems to be helping.

Now viruses are invading.

Last month, most of the family came down with a horrible cold. It was a doozy knocking us down for a week and lingering for a couple more.

This week, I came down with norovirus. I’m finally able to eat small amounts of stewed apples and crackers but I couldn’t hold down even water for 4 days. An ER visit for anti nausea meds and an IV saline bag helped that some.

Viral illnesses don’t just interrupt life for a few days – they bring everything to a halt often for several weeks. They interrupt treatments and therapies and sometimes set my health back, allowing for the tick-borne disease symptoms to flare.

I really want to spend some time doing RIFE treatments (frequencies). I’ve using our rife machine to help stabilize – daily health and sleep support and such. I like the results but the one kill program I ran was painful for several days so I’m hesitant to do that until I am clear of sickness and have some time to prepare food and get the house dialed in before I am out of commission again.

My doctor wants to restart treatment for the diseases – it would likely mean another picc line, IVs and IMs at home. This always causes a jarisch-herxheimer reaction (herx). Herx reactions happen when bacteria die off and release toxins that cause horrific head and neck pain, nausea, and body aches. In the past, these have lasted anywhere from 4 days to 2 weeks. And we change meds every 4-6 weeks, so there’s a new herx that often too. So again, I want to be prepared to be down.

It’s overwhelming to think about. Planning for anything is really hard. Being wife and mom is really hard. I just am not as engaged as I’d like to be.

So if you see me out and about, please know that it’s a brief window of feeling ok.

Through all of this:

God is still God.

God is still good.

To Him be the glory.
